Most indoor golf simulators can show you the shot. Golf Envy’s simulators let you feel it.
As golfers step onto the teeing area inside Eagle’s newest private indoor golf club, the ground beneath their feet can tilt, rise, and shift to replicate the uneven lies found on actual golf courses. One moment they’re hitting from an uphill stance. The next, they’re facing a sidehill lie or digging a ball out of a realistic bunker surface.
“The biggest thing you’ll notice is the floor actually moves,” says owner Tyler Robinson. “These platforms simulate uphill, downhill, ball above your feet, ball below your feet, and can create thousands of different lies.”
Powered by a sophisticated system of servo motors, the simulator bays can recreate more than 60,000 unique playing positions. Combined with rough, fairway, and bunker surfaces, the technology provides an experience that feels remarkably close to being on a real course.
It’s the kind of feature that stops first-time visitors in their tracks—and one of the many reasons Golf Envy is quickly becoming one of Eagle’s most unique recreational destinations.
Located in the heart of Eagle and opening its doors in April, Golf Envy combines cutting-edge golf technology, 24-hour member access, professional-grade practice tools, and a social club atmosphere designed for golfers of every skill level.
“We’re hot off the press,” Tyler laughs. “We’ve only been open a couple of months.”
More Than Entertainment
While Golf Envy offers the excitement of playing world-famous golf courses, Tyler says the facility is designed first and foremost as a place to improve.

“We consider ourselves a practice facility—a gym for golf,” he says. “Everything we provide is designed to help people get better.”
Golf Envy has also partnered closely with Leadbetter Golf Academy for professional instruction and PXG for custom club fittings, giving members access to expert coaching and personalized equipment solutions all under one roof.
The simulator technology captures detailed performance metrics including ball speed, spin rate, launch angle, club path, pressure distribution, and swing mechanics. Multiple cameras record every swing, allowing members to review their performance instantly.
“It records all your data and videos your swing,” Tyler says. “You can review everything afterward and even ask the AI to analyze your swing and give you feedback.”
Members can access their statistics and swing videos through an app, making it easy to track progress over time.
The facility is already attracting serious golfers looking for an edge.
“We have a young woman who is working toward the LPGA,” Tyler says. “She’s incredibly talented and uses the facility to understand her numbers and figure out where she can improve.”
Play the World’s Most Famous Courses
Golf Envy members have access to more than 300 courses from around the world.
“Pebble Beach, St. Andrews, Bethpage Black, Tobacco Road, Kiawah Island—we’ve got all the big names,” Tyler says.
What makes the experience even more impressive is the technology behind each course. Using advanced LiDAR mapping and drone scanning, every course has been recreated with incredible detail.
“Every course was mapped by Golfzon using a fleet of drones,” Tyler explains. “They’ve captured the elevation changes and topography to create an incredibly realistic experience.”
Whether someone wants to check Pebble Beach off their bucket list or squeeze in a quick round after work, the experience is available year-round without weather delays or lengthy tee times.
A Private Club Experience
Golf Envy operates as a private membership club with an appointment-based atmosphere that prioritizes convenience and exclusivity.
Members enjoy app-based access to the facility and can reserve simulator bays at any time.
“We just got approved for 24/7, 365-day access,” Tyler says. “Members can come in whenever they want.”
Groups of up to three players can reserve a simulator bay, making the club ideal for practice sessions, family outings, business meetings, or friendly competitions.
Additional amenities include complimentary water and snacks, along with locker rentals for members who want to store their clubs and equipment on-site. The added conveniences make it easy to stop in for a quick practice session without hauling gear back and forth.
Golf Envy also offers simulator orientations and training sessions to help new members maximize the technology available to them.
Building Community Through Golf
The vision for Golf Envy extends beyond practice and technology. The club is actively building league play, tournaments, and social events to create a strong golf community in Eagle.
“We’re going to start building up our leagues,” Tyler says. “We’d love to have men’s leagues, women’s leagues, and eventually even junior leagues.”
Members can also participate in tournaments throughout the year and enjoy exclusive social events hosted at the club.
For businesses, Golf Envy offers a unique venue for client appreciation events, team-building activities, networking gatherings, and private celebrations.
Golf Season Never Ends
While Idaho winters naturally drive golfers indoors, Tyler believes Golf Envy offers value throughout the entire year.
“In the winter, we’ll definitely see more people because they can’t play outside,” he says. “But honestly, when it’s 95 degrees in the summer or freezing in the winter, it’s nice to come somewhere comfortable.”
The climate-controlled environment allows members to practice consistently, whether they’re preparing for tournament season, dialing in distances, or simply enjoying the game they love.
For golfers looking to improve faster, play iconic courses, join leagues, or enjoy golf on their own schedule, Golf Envy offers something unique: a place where the course never closes, the weather is always perfect, and every swing provides valuable feedback.
As Tyler puts it, “Whether you’re brand new to golf or you’re a scratch golfer, there’s something here that can help you get better.”
Golf Envy is currently accepting memberships and scheduling tours and orientations for prospective members interested in experiencing Eagle’s newest indoor golf destination.
