Join us on May 2nd for an unforgettable day where equestrian sport meets Derby tradition, community, and live entertainment—all in full Derby fashion.
The Get Lucky Derby is a celebration of horses, riders, and the spirit of arena eventing, held on the same day as the Kentucky Derby. Gates open at 4:00 PM, welcoming guests into an afternoon and evening filled with excitement, style, and high-energy competition.
Throughout the property, guests can enjoy food trucks, local vendors, and spirits, along with great company and a vibrant social atmosphere. Following the Kentucky Derby coverage, the excitement continues with a live arena eventing competition, featuring professional and highly accomplished amateur equestrian athletes from across the region.
Hosting the evening is David Paul from The Voice of Boise, bringing energy and commentary throughout the event.
Entertainment extends beyond the arena with a surprise halftime performance by Nadine Schwartzman of Les Bois Dressage, followed by a headline performance from Jeff Crosby, closing out the night on a high note.

We’ll also be awarding prizes for Best Hat and Best Dressed, so bring your Derby best.
Footwear note: while we love a good heel, please avoid stilettos due to gravel terrain—block heels or flats are strongly recommended.

- There are many horses on property—please do not pet or feed the horses, for safety and welfare.
- Parking will be limited, so carpooling is highly encouraged.

A unique highlight of the day is our 50/50 horse-and-rider raffle system—the closest thing to Derby wagering in Idaho.
- Each horse and rider has their own raffle pool
- $10 = 1 ticket
