A beautiful floral arrangement is an ever-present inclusion for all the most monumental times in someone’s life. When a family member is lost, we often send flowers to give someone who’s hurting something beautiful to look at. When a family gets bigger, whether it’s a birth or a marriage, you are sure to send a bright and beautiful representation of your excitement. Any event in our lives is made better with flowers.
Hope Blooms Flowers and Things
The girls at Hope Blooms Flowers and Things are here to help you navigate any of life’s events. Dorothy and her daughter Kara run the shop. They are lively, friendly, and have a passion for flowers that is shown in their amazingly high quality and unique arrangements. Dorothy has been working with flowers in the Valley for the last 33 years. Her daughter, Kara, has been helping in the shop for as long as she can remember. Kara now has a daughter, Finley who is cute as a button and a model for their social media accounts. There have been many mothers and daughters working side by side in this shop. I think it’s needless to say, but family is important at Hope Blooms.
This shop has been a staple in the community of Eagle forever. They completed over 300 units for Eagle High’s Homecoming Dance and they do their best to buy local whenever possible. Their reach extends beyond the city of Eagle as well. Hope Blooms has done events as far as McCall and Sun Valley. These girls will truly do whatever they can to make your special day exactly that – special.
Their shop offers an incredible gift selection as well. It’s a perfect one stop shop to get something for whoever you’re hoping to surprise. Home décor, cards, jewelry, seasonal house plants, and of course exemplary arrangements will help you pick the perfect gift for your perfect person this holiday season.
Hope Blooms Flowers and Things can also help to make your holiday party one to remember. They offer in-home/office decorating services and will even come decorate your Christmas tree. They make beautiful centerpieces for any event and are sure to have an amazing collection as we approach the holidays.
A sign in their shop reads “Flowers can’t solve all problems, but they’re a great start” and we couldn’t agree more. This shop offers intention in everything they do and are here to help you express your emotions.

Madeline George Garden Design Nursery (MG) started as a design-driven landscape and garden design company back in 2002 and expanded to open the boutique retail garden center in 2012 with an emphasis on carrying plants that thrive in our climate and provide seasonal interest. Their focus is to help people create stylish and sustainable outdoor living environments. They also carry outdoor living products such as fire pits, fountains, pottery, and furniture.
Kecia Carlson, the Principal Designer and General Manager at MG, shares, “We are open year-round for all your gardening interests! We are very design-driven, so we like to keep abreast of trends and bring those new plants, ideas, products, and innovations to our customers. Our mission is our passion and that’s helping people create stylish and sustainable environments – outside or in! We love the creative process and engaging with people who like that too! Our palette is plants, people, and the environment.”
During this holiday season, MG is hoping to get everyone together. Their classes and workshops offer a variety of topics – planting winter containers, creating wreaths, crafting terrariums and even decorating your home with garden cuttings.
