Not only will you benefit your body and mind through this yoga practice, all proceeds fund experiential education programs that connect refugee youth with conservation and service learning in the Boise area through the WOW (Wild Outdoor Week) and New Roots. Each summer, dozens of refugee youth participate in activities such as maintaining trails, planting native shrubs to restore wildlife habitat, building bird nesting boxes, and eradicating weeds. Refugees work closely with positive role models from the community including volunteers, biologists, teachers, and student interns. Ages 8 and up with a parent.
