Warmer weather is finally here! If you’re looking for things to do this March and April, you’ve come to the right place.
With the seasons changing, we couldn’t help but put together a lineup of events and activities happening here in Eagle for you and your family to enjoy. So bring out the warmer clothes, get out your sunscreen, and enjoy what spring has to offer!
Paint and Sip
Thursday, March 19
Take a break and come down with friends and family to Paint and Sip! The event will be held at Wild West Home of Mamma Italia, and will run from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m. to enjoy dinner and snacks, or snack and sip while painting! A Succulent Day
Friday, March 20
Join A Succulent Day in learning all about succulents and creating your own arrangement. In the perfect time for spring, this DIY Succulent Potting Bar will be held on Friday, March 20 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Eagle Landing Community Center. Penguin Plunge
Saturday, April 11
Are you up for a Plunge? The Penguin Plunge, hosted by the Special Olympics of Idaho, is a fun challenge for a great cause! This unique opportunity involves gathering pledges and plunging into a pool full of icy cold water at Eagle Island State Park. Benefits go to Special Olympic Athletes, so bring your friends, family, and business partners. Incentive prizes will be for those who raise $250+. Easter Fest
Saturday, April 11
Bring the family to Reid Merrill Park on Saturday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. for a free Easter celebration. There will be an Easter egg hunt, bounce houses, activities, an Easter bunny, food trucks, giveaways, and much more!
Glow in the Park
Saturday, April 25
Prepare to stay up late for this one! Put on by the City of Eagle, the nighttime 1 mile obstacle course will be held at Reid Merrill Park from 9 p.m. to midnight. The run is perfect for all fitness levels, and will not be timed due to the “obstacle course” nature. There will be a live DJ, glow sticks, drinks, and prizes. All you need to bring is a glowing outfit, a flashlight, and an I.D (other recommended items are listed on website). So, will you shine the brightest in the park?
