Bar-B-Clean Brings Professional Grill Cleaning to the Treasure Valley
When you think “clean BBQ,” you might picture a wire brush and a weekend afternoon spent scrubbing away stubborn grease. But what if there was a better way—a professional way—to deep clean your grill, extend its life, and make it look and perform like new?
That’s exactly what Alan Garcia, owner of the new Bar-B-Clean franchise serving Idaho’s Treasure Valley, are bringing to the table. With a three-part business model—deep cleaning, parts replacement, and full BBQ replacement—Bar-B-Clean is redefining backyard maintenance in the Treasure Valley and beyond.
A Micron Mindset Meets BBQ Innovation
Franchise owner Alan Garcia, a former Micron employee who worked in everything from sales to fabrication, now travels between California and Idaho, while his sister Sharon heads up the operations across the Treasure Valley. The siblings co-own two key franchise territories—Sacramento and Boise—bringing professional BBQ cleaning and maintenance to both regions.
“We saw a gap in the market,” Alan says. “With all the new construction in places like Eagle and Meridian, these homes come with stunning outdoor kitchens and built-in grills. But no one’s thinking about how to maintain them. That’s where we come in.”
Bar-B-Clean was originally founded over a decade ago, and today, Alan and Sharon are bringing its proven systems to Idaho’s growing communities.

What Makes Bar-B-Clean Different?
“We’re not just surface-level cleaners,” Alan explains. “We get into every nook and cranny. It’s a deep clean you can literally feel when you touch it. And we do it in about two to three hours. For a homeowner, that same job could take six to seven.”
Bar-B-Clean goes beyond cleaning by offering diagnostics and repairs, and when a grill is beyond saving, they can also replace it entirely, offering new units to match the home’s existing design or outdoor space.
“Sometimes, the best route is just a new BBQ,” Sharon adds. “And we make that process turnkey.”
A New Standard for Outdoor Living
With the growing popularity of outdoor living spaces in new construction throughout Eagle, Star, Meridian, and Boise, the Garcias see this as the perfect time to bring Bar-B-Clean to Idaho.
“We’re seeing this major trend with homebuilders—big patios, built-in kitchens, full outdoor entertaining zones. The grill is the centerpiece of all that,” says Alan. “People spend thousands on these grills but don’t maintain them. That’s where we come in.”
A Mission Rooted in Cleanliness—and Kindness
Beyond just providing a service, Bar-B-Clean Idaho is focused on community impact. “If we can refurbish a grill that’s still got life in it, we try to donate it—to places like the Idaho Youth Ranch or families in need,” Alan says. “And when that’s not an option, we help navigate bulky waste pickup or removal.”
Their mission is as much about helping homeowners as it is about keeping unwanted pests and bacteria away from your cooking spaces. “Grease and food residue attract rodents and bugs,” Alan says. “So yes, we make your grill shine, but more importantly, we make it safe and sanitary.”
Local Impact, Local Praise
They recently completed a deep clean for a homeowner in Middleton who was blown away by the results:
“Thoroughly satisfied! I mean, who really wants to clean their barbecue, who really has? The team showed up, on time with smiles. They took their time to make it right. It really needed it… And it feels great going into summer with it all spiffy! Thank you.”
