Red Chair Lavender Unveils Summer Festival with Immersive Experiences

There’s something magical about lavender season in Eagle—and this year, Red Chair Lavender is inviting the community to experience a special weekend.

Traditionally held over the Fourth of July weekend, the beloved annual festival is shifting to July 11th and 12th.

Rather than a single, large-scale event, this year’s celebration will unfold across two distinct themed days, each offering its own atmosphere, audience, and rhythm.

Saturday, July 11: Evening in Provence

Kicking off the weekend is Evening in Provence, a French-inspired summer night set among the lavender fields. Designed as a more refined, adult-oriented experience, the evening will run from approximately 4:00 p.m. to sunset.

    Guests can expect:

    • A welcome pour of champagne upon arrival
    • Stunning lavender bundles to take home
    • Elegant charcuterie boards created by a local artisan
    • A roaming, French café-style musical experience with live vocals and violins drifting through the fields

The ambiance is reminiscent of a countryside soirée—guests are encouraged to wander, sip, and savor the setting as music and lavender fill the air. Attendance will be limited with a set ticket amount, creating a relaxed and elevated environment.

Sunday, July 12: Jazz in the Lavender (Family Day)

The weekend transitions into a lively and welcoming Family Day with Jazz in the Lavender, held from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

This daytime event brings a more casual, community-centered feel, featuring:

    • Live jazz music throughout the day
    • A curated selection of 10 unique vendors, each offering distinct, non-overlapping goods
    • Family-friendly activities, with plans for interactive elements like water features, bounce houses and games
    • Lavender treats, refreshments, and the signature charm of the farm

While the first event is more intentional, the heart of the festival remains—connection, creativity, and a celebration of local talent.

    A Focus on Community Giving

This year’s festival also brings a deeper emphasis on community impact.

    • Each vendor will donate 10% of their proceeds to a charity of their choice
    • Red Chair Lavender will contribute to a local nonprofit, continuing their commitment to meaningful, local support

The result is a festival that not only gathers people together—but gives back in the process.

Still Want to Celebrating the Fourth?

For those who have made Red Chair Lavender part of their Fourth of July tradition—don’t worry. The farm will remain open over the holiday weekend, offering lavender lemonade, shopping, and a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy the fields at your own pace with u-cut experience.

Whether you’re sipping champagne under the evening sky or enjoying jazz with your family in the sun, this year’s celebration promises to be one to remember. Support your local farmers and vendors and purchase your tickets today!
