Passion for Fashion

From sassy to classy, Eagle’s boutiques let you express your unique style this spring.

story Liza Walton  photography  Allie Hullinger

What do Victoria Beckham, Fergie, Taylor Swift, and Kate Hudson have in common? These “it” girls are all fashion icons—and all of them would feel just as comfortable shopping in Eagle, Idaho as they do on Melrose in Los Angeles. A glam girl attracts attention with her ability to reflect her unique personality through her image.  Eagle’s premiere boutiques, all conveniently located in one easy-access downtown loop, let local fashion divas express their sense of fashion in every price range.

Coco Couture, Mimi Marie, Club, and Ruby Lou have developed a loyal fan following by catering to their clients’ distinctive tastes and providing the customer service Hollywood royalty takes for granted.  Enjoy a fashion tour with us and discover why the town with “more right outside your door” has earned a well-deserved reputation as a shopping destination for fashionistas throughout the Treasure Valley.

1.    Coco Couture: Fabulous Fergie

“She’s got me spendin” –Black Eyed Peas

Fergie won’t burn any London Bridges in clothes like these, but she could definitely start a fire on the dance floor. With its edgy combination of glamour and grunge, Coco Couture’s fabulous European lines look just as hot on chic Eagle moms as they do on the sexy singer. Cheryl Yeargin, owner of the tastefully decorated boutique on the corner of Iron Eagle and Old State Street, says, “Spring is all about joy. Color yourself happy.”

Owner Louise “Lou” Baxter Russell brings her inimitable sense of style and quirky sense of humor to every endeavor, and her popular boutique is going strong. Referring to her recent struggle with cancer, Lou says, “You never know how you will handle adversity until it hits you. I haven’t had to worry about the store at all, thanks to my employees. They are so fun—just like our spring fashions!”
